Guide
What makes a good sermon slide
One idea per slide
People read faster than you speak. A slide should carry one verse, one point or one question, so the room listens to you rather than reading ahead.
Print the verse exactly
Typos in Scripture distract. ScripturePath takes verses from the stored KJV or BSB text and shows the reference and translation on every slide.
Readable at the back
Large serif text, high contrast and no clutter. Choose Midnight for dark rooms and Parchment or Clean for bright ones.
End with a response
A closing slide with one concrete step for the week helps people leave with something to do, not just something to remember.
Put questions on screen for discussion
In a class or small group, a question slide gives everyone the same words to think about. Leave it up while people talk, then move on.
Pair slides with a handout
Slides carry the reading and points for the room; a handout lets people take notes and keep them. Both come from the same study in one pack, so they match point for point.

Scripture quoted word for word
Verses come from the King James Version (1769) or the Berean Standard Bible. Both are public domain and stored with the app, so every verse on your study, slides and handout is the published text. Scripture is never edited, paraphrased or generated.
One foundation, every tradition
Every study is written inside historic, Trinitarian Christian faith with Christ at the center. Your tradition changes emphasis, terms and the day of worship, never the foundation. About ScripturePath

Questions
Frequently asked
What file format are the slides?
A widescreen (16:9) PDF, which opens and projects on any computer. Editable PowerPoint files aren't offered at the moment.
Can I use the slides on the free plan?
Free accounts can download a watermarked preview of the slide decks. The Leader and Preacher plans include the full slide decks.
Why only the KJV and BSB?
Both are in the public domain, so every verse can be printed exactly as published on your slides without licence restrictions.
Do the decks include songs or announcements?
No. The decks cover the passage and the message: the reading, big idea, points, questions and a response. Add songs and notices in your usual presentation software.
Which theme should I choose?
Midnight suits darker rooms and projectors with weak contrast. Parchment, Clean and Olive are lighter and read well in bright rooms. All four use large type.
