For volunteer teachers of adult and teen classes who want solid preparation without a whole evening of it. On paid plans you can add an optional children's corner (ages 5–10) to the outline.

  • Teacher's background

Context, observations and interpretation, so you can answer the questions your class is likely to ask.

  • Class handout

The passage, fill-in-the-blank notes that follow the lesson, and space to write answers. A4 or US Letter.

  • Discussion questions

Questions that move from what the text says to what it means and how to live it.

  • Lesson outline & slides

A teaching outline with the handout answers, plus an optional slide deck for the reading and key points.

Discussion questions from the sample handout

Why does Peter suggest ‘seven times’ as a limit for forgiving his brother, and what is Jesus communicating by responding with ‘seventy times seven’?

Why does the king’s compassion in verse 27 matter so much to understanding what happens next?

When you hold a grudge or refuse to forgive someone, do you find yourself blind to the mercy you have already received? What helps you remember?

Guide

How to run a 45-minute lesson with one pack

Welcome and read (5–10 minutes)

Open in prayer. Hand out the sheet and read the passage together. It is printed on the handout, so everyone reads the same words whatever Bible they brought.

Teach the big idea and points (15 minutes)

Walk through the points on your outline. The class fills in the blanks as you go, and the outline gives you the answers.

Talk it over (15 minutes)

Use two or three of the discussion questions. Start with an observation question so everyone can join in, then move to application. You won't need all of them.

Respond and pray (5 minutes)

Close with the one concrete step on the handout and pray. Keep the sheet; the notes make a good review next week.

Teaching teens

Keep the reading short, ask the observation questions first so nobody feels caught out, and let them answer in pairs before sharing with the room. The fill-in notes give everyone something to do while you teach.

When you have a screen

Project the reading and each point from the slide deck while the class fills in the handout. People who arrive late can catch up from the screen.

How it works

From passage to print in four steps

  1. 01

    Choose this week's passage

From your curriculum, a series, or a topic your class asked about.

    Pick translation and paper

KJV or BSB; A4 or US Letter; your church or class name on the handout.

  3. 03

    Read the study

It is your preparation. Change emphasis, skip sections, and add your own examples.

  4. 04

    Print and teach

Print the handout for the class and the outline for yourself; project the slides if you use them.

Scripture quoted word for word

Verses come from the King James Version (1769) or the Berean Standard Bible. Both are public domain and stored with the app, so every verse on your study, slides and handout is the published text. Scripture is never edited, paraphrased or generated.

One foundation, every tradition

Every study is written inside historic, Trinitarian Christian faith with Christ at the center. Your tradition changes emphasis, terms and the day of worship, never the foundation. About ScripturePath

Questions

Frequently asked

Is this for children's classes?

The main lesson suits adults and teens. On paid plans you can add a children's corner for ages 5–10 (a simple retelling, questions, an activity and a prayer) to the outline. It is written by AI once for that study, so read it before use.

Can I use it alongside our curriculum?

Yes. Enter the passage your curriculum assigns. ScripturePath doesn't reproduce any publisher's lesson material; it prepares its own study on the passage.

Do I need to be signed in?

You can read the free library without an account. To prepare your own lessons, create a free account: 3 free packs to start, then 1 every month, each with the full study and handout.

Can I put our church or class name on the handout?

Yes. Add your church or group name and the date before you generate, and they print in the handout header. Choose A4 or US Letter to match your printer.

Which Bible translation is used?

The King James Version or the Berean Standard Bible, your choice. Both are public domain and quoted word for word, so the passage on the handout is exactly as published.
