Real pages from a group study on Matthew 18:21–35 (KJV) and Philippians 4 (BSB), unedited.

Why does Peter suggest ‘seven times’ as a limit for forgiving his brother, and what is Jesus communicating by responding with ‘seventy times seven’?
Why does the king’s compassion in verse 27 matter so much to understanding what happens next?
When you hold a grudge or refuse to forgive someone, do you find yourself blind to the mercy you have already received? What helps you remember?

Guide
How to lead a small group Bible study
Read the passage together
Have one or two people read it aloud from the handout. Then ask, ‘What stands out to you?’ before anyone explains anything.
Observe, then interpret, then apply
The questions follow the inductive pattern: what does it say, what does it mean, and what will we do about it? Resist jumping straight to application.
Use silence
After a question, wait. Count to ten if you need to. The first answer is rarely the best one.
You don't need every question
Two or three good questions are plenty for an evening. Pick the ones that fit your group.
End with one step
Close with the response on the handout. Pair people up to check in with each other before the next meeting.
A simple plan for the evening
Welcome and pray, read the passage, take the first observation question, work through the points on the handout, discuss two or three questions, then close with the response and prayer. Plan for about an hour and adjust to your group.
How it works

It prints on the handout header along with the date.

One per person; the questions have writing lines.
Scripture quoted word for word
Verses come from the King James Version (1769) or the Berean Standard Bible. Both are public domain and stored with the app, so every verse on your study, slides and handout is the published text. Scripture is never edited, paraphrased or generated.
One foundation, every tradition
Every study is written inside historic, Trinitarian Christian faith with Christ at the center. Your tradition changes emphasis, terms and the day of worship, never the foundation. About ScripturePath

Questions
Frequently asked
Are there answers to the questions?
The leader's outline includes the answers to the handout's fill-in notes, and the study gives the background for discussion. Open questions have no single answer, by design.
Is there an icebreaker?
Each study opens with a short ‘at a glance’ summary and an opening prayer. Many leaders use the first observation question as the icebreaker.
Can I browse studies without signing up?
Yes. The free library has complete studies to read with no account. Signing up lets you prepare your own passage and print the handout.
Does it work for a men's or women's group?
Yes. Choose any passage or topic that suits your group, add the group name for the handout header, and pick the questions that fit the people in the room.
What if my group uses different Bibles?
The handout prints the passage in full, in the KJV or BSB, so everyone can read and discuss the same words whatever Bible they brought.
